I was kissing the ex in my dream I just want to smoke weed and hang with my Dachshund shirt. I was very much into my actual boyfriend at the time and not at all pining for the ex still I felt a slight twinge of guilt. Later that day, I checked my email and saw the subject line a dream. It was from my ex telling me he had a dream we were kissing. It wasn’t sexual, but more like a forgiveness dream. He didn’t think we should get back together, but he felt an inexplicable need to tell me.
He was also very apologetic about sending me the message and expressed he hoped he wasn’t out of line I just want to smoke weed and hang with my Dachshund shirt. I hadn’t seen or spoken to him in months. I messaged him back to tell him I had a similar dream that night. We never elaborated on our conversation beyond our email exchange. How many times have you thought of someone only to have them call out of the blue? I do believe when we think about people, it’s often a two-way street.
We can never know for sure, but energetic chords rarely reach one way. A mathematician will tell you that equality can be a pretty tricky thing to define precisely, especially when you get to something more complex than simple integers. Similarly, the meaning of sameness is not some simple black-and-white absolute, it’s a collection of perspectives that swirl around a common topic, and there’s more than one way to look at what the word means, depending on the context.
